Shower time!

My mother is hosting my baby shower this weekend. I am very excited. I made the invitations and wanted to share.

Another two weeks has passed. Time seems to be flying, which is okay with me. It just means we are that closer to seeing Ben again:)

Wide load coming through. No wonder I bump into things all the time!


Think he dropped? I can sure tell you he has. Nothing like him turning his head! Ouch!

While looking through some photos on my computer, I ran across this one of me the day I was born. It looked very similiar to one of the 4D ultrasounds. So I put them side-by-side to compare. Then I looked for a similiar photo of Jace and compared those. Unfortunately I don't have any newborn photos of Ben scanned, they are all stored away, so I couldn't add him to the comparison.

But this is what I came up with. Think we're related?

Baby in 3D!!

I had a 4D ultrasound today at 30 weeks. It is hard to go so long without seeing our little guy. But after 12 weeks since our last glance, it was so nice to see his face again.

He is head down and snug as a bug. He has his hands and feet by his face. He has plenty of room up top, but has nestled down in my pelvis. He seemed quite happy there.

Here is what we saw most of the ultrasound...hands in the face.


Here you can see his feet. They are right by his head. That is his face in the top right corner.


This is the traditional 2D profile shot. He was making sucking motions with his mouth. And has the cutest little lips!

Here is proof that he is still a boy. Cute little butt shot! I do have another shot of the whole area, but I will keep that one private.

Now we wait 8 weeks to finally meet him in person!

Here comes the Bride...smaid!

My best friend since the 6th grade got married this weekend. I was a bridesmaid for the first time...while 29 weeks pregnant! I felt huge, but everyone said I looked great. But honestly, who is going to tell a very pregnant woman they aren't? :D Everything went great and she made the most beautiful bride.

After the wedding I had Mom take a picture of me in my dress for Grandma. I should have some better ones in a couple of weeks.


Here we are at the rehearsal dinner. Me, Nancy(bride), Lena(maid of honor), and Jenny (bridesmaid).
